Kym Carter

After graduating from QUT, Kym began her design career working in a retail home décor business. Kym then managed a design showroom for a wholesale fabric company where she gained enormous and invaluable knowledge of various décor and building products.

Kym was the designer on the first DIY home décor television show ‘Brett’s Handyman Half Hour’. Kym has been a guest lecturer at QUT, taught interior design courses, and has been a guest speaker at design industry conferences.

Kym works as an interior designer with independent Architects and building designers. These collaborations have resulted in multiple awards including:

  • Robinson  residence – Cabarita
  • Mitchell residence – Paradise Waters
  • Greencorp Building – Loganholme
  • GPS Building – Murarrie

Kym is an Artist as well as a Designer so she is exceptionally creative and constantly pushes the boundaries in design. Her unique style helps achieve stylish, innovative and very livable spaces for her Clients.
